Designer and Model at New York Fashion Week

The New York Fashion Week September 2022 and i had the honour to be a part of it. As a Designer, Model and Hair Make Up Artist in more than one SDP Fashion Week Show at Marriot Marqis NYC Broadway right at theTimesquare. This is more than i ever dreamed of. Thank you so much Star Dreamers Productions and the fabolous Fashion Designer Rojen Morris for having me and believing in my talent.

Since Spring 2022 i was creating Headdresses for the New York Fashion Week shows and dreamed of my absolute favourite town New York City. Since i have been there ago 20 years i dreamed many times to be there again, i woke up and realised i miss this city so much. Now being a part of the creative and fashion culture and of course the most amazing event the “New York Fashion Week” is absolutely overwhelming.

This is our incredible community and the whole event of Star Dreamers Productions was raising awareness towards hydrocephalus with buying the tickets the guests also supported the survivors.

The Designers Concept for the New York Fashion Week 2022

The concept the award winning Designer Rojen Morris of rose gold colors and the idea of the rose as a recurring motif in fairy tales as a symbol of love and care, family and unity. Fairy tales have naturally been aligned with the world of high fashion for quite some time. Rojen Empire collection continued to inspire the aspiring young and adult models channeling there magical transformation, believing that dreams do come true.

The collaboration with me Antje Art just fit so naturally my Headdress and Accesoires Collection “Elfen Art” means the way of the faiys and shall be inspiring and take the viewer and the one who wears my creations to another world of fantasy.

Hair and make Up for the New York Fashion Week

Since many years I made Hair and Make Up for a lot of Brides, Fotoshootings and events, but this time it was really incredible. I didnt just make the Models for my and Rojens show i also had the honour to work for several other Designers.

For my and Rojen Morris show we chose a magical style with lots of glitter and bodypainting. To make the dresses and headdresses stand out it shall be not to dominant but unique.

I have to tell you every single one was so kind to me, i felt so welcome and i loved to create the look for every model so much.

The New York Fashion Week Shows

We had two shows at this day where Rojens Dresses and my Headpieces and Accessoires where on the runway. The first one was at the 7th floor and had an amazing catwalk, i loved the white floor and the bright carpets. Rojen told me before she want to see me on the runway, i really couldnt believe it but when it was time she just said: “So Antje its your turn..” This was just an overwhelming feeling on the runway. I know the stage from my singing performances, but the fashion stage, the runway is another world and i really enjoyed every single second.

My first Runway as a Model at the New York Fashion Week

This was the amazing Model and creative community to be a part of it as model and designer is still unbelievable.

I really want to thank every model for their passion theyr beautiful out and inside. This is an real special and empowering Fashion Week Event because we had models from all ages and sizes. That makes us outstanding and empowering diversity. I will show you now some pictures of my headdresses on the runway and of course the dresses shown here are all from the amazing Coutoure Designer Rojen Morris “Empire Collections”.

Between the two fashion shows has been made a fotoshoot also in the Marriot Marquis with the amazing Fotographer Yvonne Hanson.

Second New York Fashion Week Show in the Ballroom

An i have to mention a “Headddress Model Story”, sometimes things just happen for a good reason. I created a hat with the black pearl ship on and a pirate theme without knowing who will be the model. We had the honour to have the legendary Jay Smith as model for our show and he is not just the most amazing kind and fun person he is also THE Pirate. Perfect Match!

Mykhael Michaels

The absolutely charismatic Mykhael Michaels, the Walking for Director/CEO/PRESIDENT of Mrs.Earth /Ms.Earth was really so amazing i want to thank him so much for giving the shows the moderation and he was also launching The New Line/Collection GLAMOROUSLY GREEN on the runway.

I really loved his positive energy so much and want him so much for that.

This New York Fashion Week was absolutely amazing of course there are no words to thank you Rojen Morris enough for giving me this opportunity, believing in my talent and being so supportive. I love your dresses so much if you ask my fairy heart what do you want to wear from this stunning gowns? All of them. You create amazing fashion and you also let dreams come true. You support talents of all ages, all body types and from all nations. You are a real role model to me.

When i was a kid i dreamed of being a model but they told my parents im too small for the job and when the first swimwear agency saw all my strech marks, which i became at my legs when i was 10 years old, they cancelled the job. First I was devestated but as always i worked on my other passions, art and music.

As a model it is normal not to get a job and so important not to take that personal but to see now so many years later that it is absolutely fine to not fit in all standarts is so empowering. To live diversity is a sign for our time and Rojen makes this possible with her concept and fashion.

To give dreams a space that is what Star Dreamers Productions do and to be a part of this event is the biggest honour for me. I also want to thank all the models and parents of them for being just incredible positive, supportive and kind. My friends and family for believing in me and my fabulous husband who was really so supportive!

Follow your dreams, that is what we all did here together. I loved it more than words can say thank you!
